MEET OUR VETS
All of the veterinarians at Healthy Paws Veterinary Clinic spend a lot of time keeping up with the latest in veterinary medicine. They work together and make an amazing team in animal healthcare. When your pet is sick or comes in for a wellness check, you may only see one of our vets but you have all of them behind the scenes working for you and your pet.

A big part of veterinary medicine that enriches my life is… being able to make a difference in the lives of pets and their owners. Even after a decade of clinical practice I continue to learn and still find myself intrigued by the mysteries that my patients present. I enjoy using the clues they provide with the help of their owners and an ever expanding arsenal of diagnostics to solve those mysteries. I love collaborating with my colleagues at Healthy Paws. Our collective experience and knowledge elevates our level of care!

A big part of veterinary medicine that enriches my life is… to provide comprehensive medicine for our patients but also to provide education and guidance to their caretakers. My personal connection with animals has been a huge part of my life and most of my earliest memories revolve around animals. Instead of an imaginary friend, I had an imaginary dog. I find guiding clients through the life stages of pets rewarding, from the puppy kisses and exuberant energy to the peaceful stillness at the end of life knowing we have worked together to give them the best life possible. I enjoy talking with clients and meeting our furry patients and helping them in their time of need.
I have a special interest in… preventative medicine, which is where all healthcare begins. I also enjoy problem solving internal medicine cases and performing abdominal ultrasound. As the practice owner, I enjoy mentoring my associate veterinarians and developing my staff members to provide excellent client service and patient care.

A big part of veterinary medicine that enriches my life is… working on challenging or puzzling cases. I enjoy the extra research and effort needed for those “atypical” cases, and it is always rewarding when I’m able to find solutions for both the pets and their owners. These cases often allow me to work closely with pet owners, and develop a solid relationship with them.
I have a special interest in… soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, as well as maintaining a high level of pain management with safe anesthetic protocols. I also have a fondness for felines!
